How to Play Lotto – Pro approach
Hi lotto enthusiasts, today I’ll be talking about various ways to choose your numbers using common approaches by the pros and some interesting occurrences found in all lotteries!
Most frequent (Hot numbers)
If you go to lottery results here and look at the last few lottery draws, it is simple to see which numbers drops more frequently than others. This is referred to as the most frequent number or Hot number theory.
Interesting phenomenons in lottery draws are sequentials. A sequential is a set of consecutive numbers drawn in the same game Ie; 12 and 13 are sequential, 40 and 41 and so on.
Take a look at the Australian Super 7 Draw #1106 numbers below, in this occurrence sequentials have shown up twice in the same Draw 29, 30 and 34, 35.
Leap Frog Sequentials
Leap frog sequentials are just like sequentials described above, but leap frog over a number Ie; 12 and 14 is a Leap frog sequential because it jumps over 13. Leap frogs are common and seem to appear relatively frequently in the Australian Powerball.
Have a look at the numbers below taken from the Australian Powerball Draw #988, can you see which is the Leap Frog Sequential?
This phenomenon happens when two numbers have the same last digit. Ie; 12 and 22 have the same last digit 9 and 39 and so on. If you go through the history of any lottery draw, you’ll notice last digit occurrences happen quite often! Especially for lotteries with less numbers in the draw.
Going back to the Australian Powerball Draw #988 again, can you see where the last digit has occurred here?
Repeaters are simply numbers from the previous draw that were drawn again or repeated.
When I personally choose my lottery numbers I try and make sure that a couple of my entries include a repeater from the previous draw.
Choose your numbers
Although only my opinion, I invite you to try this approach when you’re playing any lottery and potentially selecting your next winning numbers:
Checkout the draw history of your favourite lottery here and write down the most frequent numbers that pop up as well as the entire previous draw.
Choose a Lottery here then choose some random numbers or let the quick pick button select some random numbers for you, then mix it up with some Sequentials, Last digits and a repeater here and there.
Purchase and confirm your entries
Now you’re ready to go!
In my personal opinion, every lottery has its own personality that comes with its own sets of specific characteristics, if you can find those characteristics to a lottery (Ie; sequentials, repeaters and last digits) then why not try your luck and see if you can choose the winning lotto numbers!
Good Luck! Have fun and remember to play responsibly.
