Mystery Powerball winner may not know they are a multi-millioinaire
A NSW resident is one of three people to share in Thursday night’s bumper $70 million Powerball jackpot, but the mystery punter may not even know they are a multi-millionaire.
The division one-winning entry was purchased at Oak Flats Newsagency on Central Avenue in Oak Flats, about 25 kilometres south of Wollongong.
But a Tatts Lotteries spokeswoman said the winner had not registered their Players Club card, so NSW Lotteries had no way of contacting them.
“Anyone who purchased an unregistered entry from Oak Flats Newsagency in last night’s Powerball draw is urged to check their tickets as soon as possible to see if they’ve scored a division one share worth more than $23.3 million,” the spokeswoman said.
